Crunch Time

I just keep telling myself:

I had my first LSE examination today - and survived! Wow it is crazy to think that 1 test determines my grade for an ENTIRE year. I got to the exam 10-15 minutes early, which I thought was plenty of time. Well oh no I was wrong... I walked into a room lined with rows of desks filled with intense students anxiously waiting the 10:00 start time. The 100+ students were intimidating! Anyways now I have to study for my finals that are on the 29 and 30 of May... and I'm not quite prepared - at all. Back to the library I go...

Sunshine

TRUTH:

Daily showers are still part of the routine but they've certainly brought some beautiful flowers and London is in BLOOM! Better yet, the sun has been shining quite a lot!

I've been slacking on updating, but it is exam time and I promise once exams are over (...June 8) I will be all over this thing!

Marrakech - Instagram Style

MADRID MADNESS

We whizzed through Madrid on our way to Morocco. We stayed in the charming area of Chueca which was flowing with tapas bars and boutiques, especially vintage shops. Apparently forgot I had a camera and only took a few pictures. Here's a look...

The pictures aren't the greatest but this was the coolest vintage shop,  La Mona Checa was just down the road from our hotel. I loved the doors - inside & out! I felt like I had stepped inside a fabulous circus. So many colors, fabrics, and tons of art. They had an amazing selection of clothes, and the patterned blazers and leather bags were to die for.

Spent 30 minutes in the pouring rain to get into the Prado... proceeded to spend 3+ hours there I think.

Tree in Parque del Retiro was amazing

So I had to climb it...

Later on we drank cervezas and sipped on some Spanish wine.
